When is stillwater’s submission period?
Our submission period begins mid-November 2023, and ends in mid-February 2024.
How do i submit to Stillwater?
To submit, send an email to stillwatermagazine@gmail.com with a Word document or PDF attachment of your piece.
What kind of pieces does stillwater accept?
Stillwater is an open-minded platform for creativity with sections divided into Fiction, Nonfiction, Poetry, Image-Text, Visual Art, Photography, and Visual Essays.
Is there a theme?
Nope! Our themes come about organically based on the submissions we receive. Feel free to send us work about whatever is on your mind!
Who can Submit to stillwater?
Any Ithaca College undergraduate student, from any year and any major, can submit their work to Stillwater.
How long can submissions be?
We have a limit of 4,000 words for pieces of Fiction and Nonfiction.
We have a limit of 3 poems per applicant for Poetry and 5 visual submissions for Art & Photography.
When is stillwater published?
Stillwater is an annual literary magazine that is published in April of each year.
Who is Olivia? Why am I emailing her?
