Application: Senior Editor in Art & Photo

Stillwater is hiring for a Senior Editor position in Art & Photo.

As we expand our digital presence to adapt to this ever-changing year, we want to make a home for your creative vision!

We are seeking candidates with experience critiquing art, photography, and other visual media and with a passion for identifying and showcasing the work of IC’s artists.

• Throughout the year, the Senior A/P editor will

  • aid in executive decisions, helping to develop and implement programs

  • contribute to the overall aesthetic of Stillwater

• In the fall

  • serve as a contact and resource for teams working on online projects in the organization, lending a hand when needed

• In the spring

  • prior to submission review, inform their genre team on best practices for submission review, taking notes as appropriate

  • facilitate compassionate, fair, and impartial discussion to accept submissions for publication

  • engage in meaningful dialogues with content creators, share feedback with writers and artists
