Maya Carlson

This is Maya’s third year as a member of Stillwater. She is excited to serve as Senior Fiction Editor and looks forward to working alongside unique and creative individuals. Maya is a senior Creative Writing Major with minors in Psychology and Linguistics. She has always valued writing and views it as both a medium for self-expression and as a vehicle aimed at demystifying and articulating her imaginative thoughts. Though an avid lover of many genres, Maya particularly revels in reading fiction and poetry; her favorite novel is Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo and her favorite poet is Lang Leav.
