Welcome to the Stillwater Blog!

As Stillwater grows, we are reaching out for discussion, advice, and diverse opinions surrounding the world of art around us. We are aiming to generate discussion within a community of creators where we are free to question, explore, and meditate on art and its place in our lives. The Stillwater blog is a place to question art of any and all forms or other aspects of the world of creativity, and arrive at conclusions (or not) through thoughtful nonfiction work. Additionally, we will be sharing news on events and opportunities pertaining to the print magazine and online campaign.

Throughout the school year we will publish the opinions, processes, and reflections of writers from different years, majors, and concentrations. Though the content of our blogs will be largely generated by our editorial staff, all are welcome to submit nonfiction work that is creative and/or relates to creativity. We are excited to expand beyond our annual print book and delighted to share our work with readers on a more regular basis. Though this is new territory, we are eager to work within a malleable space and bring Stillwater readers interesting, thought-provoking works.
