Matthew Gardener

Matthew Gardener (hey/they) writes nonfiction that explores the narrow human slice of reality and fiction that reimagines it. He is fascinated by the ways humans have come to understand their place in the world—whether through science, art, or culture. He is pursuing a B.A. in writing with a minor in graphic design at Ithaca College, where he is Stillwater’s creative director and co-editor in chief.
