Zach Cercone is a junior at Ithaca College receiving a BFA in Film, Photography, and Visual Arts. He is an Art and Photography Editor here at Stillwater Magazine. He has always been interested in the way still and moving images portray the world around us. Zach prefers working with analog film over digital photography, because he believes it has a look and texture that digital cameras can never mimic. Zach focuses on portraiture photography, and some of his photographic influences are Nan Goldin, Peter Hujar, and Jeff Wall. When he is not in the darkroom making prints, he is probably binge-watching Broad City or Portlandia for the dozenth time.
